August 2011 to August 2014 has been a very busy time of serious studies at National Polytechnic Bamenda the Univesity of Buea.
March 28th, 2015 was the time to graduate, the time to celebrate. Eventhough it is the end of the first degree, it is equally an opportunity to start looking for the opportunity to do post graduate studies.

Graduation time is celebration time!
After a couple of years, the time has finally come that we are rewarded with the certificates. It has not been easy except that God really saw me through. Now is the time to praise the Lord in celebration.
Language Technology Consultant Training (LTCT) 2015
Language Technology Consultant Training (LTCT) 2015 Update
Language Technology Consultant Training (LTCT) is an annual field training program that brings together Language Technology Specialists and Language Technology Consultant trainees from English speaking African countries as well as Language Technology Consultant trainers for a two week training event.
The recent LTCT event took place in Nairobi, Kenya from February 9 – 20th 2015 with twelve (12) students coming from Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda and Zambia. Most students taking the LTCT training are IT people in their entities who also spend a greater percentage of their time helping language teams and individuals with language software needs as well as training so that these teams and individuals can do their work with minimal difficulty.
So basically the process of language technology involves training Language Technology workers on standard softwares used for given language development task which involves: Linguistics, Translation and Literacy. Back in their entities, Language Technology workers use this knowledge on a daily basis as they fill in this support role.
During LTCT, students also spend time to prepare sessions and lead in teaching the entire class so besides having the main instructors (Kent Schroeder and Jenni Beadle) every student has an opportunity to teach or co-teach a session. LTCT students come in prepared to learn and go out ready to train and help others in their entities and across the world.
Thanks a lot for your support so that we can be able to do this.Looking at the diagram below gives you an overview of our work in its entirety.
