For three days the new CABTAL Leadership team got together at the WA Commons property in Yaounde. It was indeed a time of fellowship, sharing, learning, dreaming and growing into the future and the bigger picture of CABTAL. It was a time of asking ourselves one by one, what does it mean for me now that I have a leadership or management position. Our theme was SERVANT LEADERSHIP. We looked at several issues at the moment that we need to consider as we step in leadership. It was very clear that we need to be united and work as a team if we are going to succeed. The General Director Efi Tembon charged us with this verse from Proverbs 2:27 which says "Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil" Kú a ghan a dzə̀ e Nyùy mbòv, a yen fóo bìn, e koy yìyí, kìn wó ŋkoòvìi, kú a bàʼàr dzə́ə sé kisaŋ si sidzə̀m.
It was very challenging but as we go back, it is the desire and cry of our hearts to work well, work smart so that CABTAL will advance so that glory will be given to God and so that those we serve might know that we are indeed servants of the most high God.
