The demise of my father (Barah Charles Ndze)

My Dad Barah Charles Ndze was born sometimes in 1942 at Wainseeri - Kimar in Jakiri sub-division in Bui Division. He was the only son of Shufai Wainseeri and Mary Mbuume who have both gone to be with the Lord. When my Dad was young he attended RCM Sop for three years and ended unceremoniously because he was beaten mercilessly by his teachers. The story is told that my father was loved a lot by his parents so it was hard to deal with unfriendly teachers. One day he was placed on the desk and beaten mercilessly on his buttocks until he could not sit up when he returned home. That was the end of school for him.
Sometimes later he when to Bamenda to be with his relations Shey Shuka and Fomduwir Christopher. He later returned to Banso and got married to my Mom sometimes in the seventies. It should be noted also that My Dad was mostly a patient for the greater part of his life. When I was still a toddler my father fell so sick and almost died. It is said that it was because he built his house untop of my grandfather's grave without knowing. Because of the illness, he had to leave their compound to neighboring Mbiim compound where we spent a few years. Shey woo Mbiim at the time took very good care of us.
We later moved to Kinkhadzer near Sop. My father spend most of his time farming and taping. Actually he was one of the best palm wine tapers around. In March 2016 he fell sick and was taken to Banso Baptist Hospital (BBH). He was due to have an operation but that didn't happen because his health could not permit that. Despite his health situation, he was very hardworking.
At his dying bed, my father confessed his sins to my Mom and asked for forgiveness. Pastor Sam was able to come and spend time with my father and he finally received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour before dying a few days later.
He has left behind a widows, 6 children, 8 grandchildren friends, family members and well wishers to mourn after him.
Please join us as we celebrate the life of our father and thank God for what He has done in and through Him.
